Stranger Cole, nacido Wilburn Theodore Cole en Kingston en el año 1945. Es cantante y compositor de los géneros Ska Rocksteady y Reggae.
Debutó en la música como compositor con la canción “In and Out the Window”, que fue escrito para la leyenda de Ska, Monty Morris.
En 1962 hizo sus primeros sencilloss con las canciones “Rough and Tough” y “When You Call My Name”, producidas por Arthur “Duke” Reid.
Stranger interpretó a menudo con socios dúo, sobre todo Patsy Todd y Ken Boothe, y más tarde en su carreracon Gladstone Anderson.
