Luciano is a Jamaican reggae singer who was born Jepther McClymont on October 20, 1964 in Manchester, Jamaica.
Career Launch
He launched his musical career in 1992 with the release of the single “Ebony and Ivory”. He released his first album in 1994 called “One Way Ticket.”
Grammy Nomination
In 2002, the album “A New Day” received a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae album. Currently his album “Zion Awake” has been nominated among five person for the 2016 Grammy Award which will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Honours
In October 2015, Luciano was awarded with the honour of Order of Distinction by the Jamaican government for his contibution to Reggae music.
